Alicia Blue

By Stone Bryson

I want to fucking love again,
can’t you give me an appeal?

Or won’t you at least parole my ass? -

with this prison I cannot deal.

Can’t you give a little credit

for my maturity,

or will I forever pay the price

for my infidelity.

It’s been so long since you’ve seen my eyes

don’t you know I’ve changed?

I know I hurt you so bad, baby -

can’t you tell I feel the pain?

I just can’t stand the thoughts I’ve had

or this pain I’ve carried through,

I want to make you mine again…

Alicia Blue.

Can’t you fucking let me dry

and pull me out of the rain?

If you’re not going to love me again

then unlock this ball and chain.

Save me from the frightful spray

of insanity,

and try to overlook my sins

of infidelity.

Been so long since I’ve seen your eyes,

I long to see them still,

don’t you know I love you, baby,

and that I always will.

If you’re not going to love me again

and try to see me new,

then won’t you fucking set me free? -

Alicia Blue.
