Please (See)
By Stone Bryson
Silence is security
and still I feel regret,
how could I know how you feel, our souls have never met.
Trace the borders of the price,
the boundaries we’ve
maintained,
brings the best and worst of me -
the candle burns away.
Please,
see,
the princess of my dreams,
your mirror shows you what I want from this life.
Please,
see,
beyond my retched screams,
and the forces that have made me cry...
wanna die.
Brush away my
covering, falls like snow at last.
You could tickle ivories but they are fading fast.
Genesis of how we met
is hard to overcome,
and the guilt of what I’ve felt
can’t ever be undone.
Please,
see,
I’ll always feel this need,
hang myself on codes that are not right.
Please,
see,
I’ll never make you leave,
you are always with me in my mind...
day and night.
The seed has grown to
full potential, I water it with pride,
even though we’ll never touch the beauty's in my mind.
You will always be a shining star -
tears arise,
cause I know you will be shining
in another’s sky.
Please,
see,
the distance of my reach,
shallow water forces my demise.
Please,
see,
the princess of my dreams,
I deny I ever wrote these lines...
goodbye.
